Near the city of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, lies a short distance from the ekvatar. The citys streets are melting into a boom. The most famous of the citys parks, Uõhuru Park is next to the business center. It is often the site of celebrations and ceremonies. Nearby is Central Park, with a memorial to the countrys first president. Popular destinations include the Heritage Park in Nairobi and the Jajwani Gardens.

In the center of Nairobi, there is the Central Square, which is flanked by the Cathedral of the Family, the Parliament Building, the City Court and the Convention Center of Kenyatta. Some international organizations, companies and firms moved their representative offices to the capital in 2007, including Coca Cola, General Electric and Google. Citizens are employed in textiles, clothing, construction materials, products, cigarettes and food.

Transcending and enlightening artifacts are housed in museums, the largest of which is the National Museum. Equally popular are the Railway Museum and the Cairn Blixen Museum. Nairobi is known for its most spectacular theatre in Africa, the Solaires Rink, which has been running since 2005. Sapphari enthusiasts are drawn to the National Park, which has no less than 400 species of fauna, including giraffes, rhinoceroses, gazelles and gazelles. It also has a hospital for sick and injured animals.

A common mode of transportation is the matatuta, a private, small minibus that accommodates 24 people. The matatou means ” three cents per ride” and is the most affordable means of transportation. Originally, Nairobi was founded as a small railroad station. Until now, the city has been home to the main office of the Kenyan Railways. Taxi rides are more expensive, but they make it much easier to travel in and out of the city. Typically, they wait for customers at hotels, expensive restaurants and shopping malls. The city was named after the local water station. The name means Cool Waters in Masonic. In 1900, an epidemic of the bubonic plague broke out in the city and caused the city to be burned. As a consequence, a new settlement was established, which eventually became modern Nairobi.
