Budapest – the largest city and capital of Hungary. Budapest was formed by the merger of several small towns on different banks of the Dunay River: Pechota on one bank and Dunay, Óbaudá and Buda on the other.

Budapest, with its rich history, has many attractions without which it is impossible to imagine the city. And certainly the most beautiful of them all is the District of Crescent. It is a treasure trove of monuments and beautiful buildings that remain to this day. They are there: The Royal Palace, the Fishermans Bazaar, the National Gallery and Library, the Cathedral of Matthew, the Laboratory, the Museum of the History of Budapest, the House of Hungarian Wines and the Chimney Column. It is also home to the Museum of War and History and the Museum of the Holy Land.

The Royal Palace on the Danube shore is spectacular with its beautiful facade. The palace was damaged during World War II, but it was rebuilt soon and is now home to the National Gallery.

The Fishermens Garden got its name because of an historic factor: Nearby, there were fishermen selling their catches at a market at the Cathedral of the Mother of God, Therefore, the bastion, as part of the defensive structure of the fortified wall, was defended by a group of fishermen in the event of an external threat. Later on, the bastion was rebuilt in a New Romanesque style, and it is now the most beautiful architectural monument in modern Budapest.

Here Göllert is named in honor of St. Gregory of Hungary, who crucified the Hungarians and was killed in the aftermath. There is a memorial to Gellert and the Gellert chambers on the mountain, built in Ahr-uhnu and opened in 1912. There are saunas and pools with mineral hot water. In addition, the Citadel, the Cave Chapel and the Monument of Liberty can also be seen.

Heroes Square – one of the citys main squares. It is next to the City Park, at the end of Anandrassy Avenue. In the center of the square is a memorial commemorating the centennial of the conquest of the Land of the Swedes. Across the piazza are two buildings: on the right &ndash, the Luchearnock Exhibition Hall, and on the left &ndash, the Museum of Fine Arts.

Budapest – it is the only city in Europe that combines two capitals – the capital and the resort. Archaeologists have found Roman tombs dating back to the second century of our time within the city limits. However, the culture of companions itself did not develop until the 16th and 17th centuries, during the Turkish Empire. Today, there are about twenty-two coupons in Budapest. The most famous are: «Gellert», «Szecheny», «Hendache» and «Kierai».

The city is also rich in museums. When you come to Budapest, you can visit them: Museum of Fine Arts, Ethnographic Museum, Hungarian National Museum, Museum of History of Budapest, Museum of Applied Art, Hungarian National Gallery, Museum of Kiscepeli, and the Ludewog Museum.

Budapest is rightly regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is not uncommonly referred to as The Queen of Danube. It is a city with many thermal springs and two spas. In spite of modern times, Budapest has retained its beauty, charm and charm in a combination of architectural styles. It has the largest cigar and the largest parliament in Europe. And the most beautiful places on the Danube riverfront can be seen by riding the tram. Conclusion: You should take several days to visit Budapest, because one day is not enough time to see all the beauties and attractions of this beautiful European capital.
