In eastern Africa, the city of Kiguela, the capital of a small country called Grande, located in the center of the country, has been established. The history of the city dates back to 1907. Initially, it served as the seat of the rulers of the German tribe. Until 1916 the city was under the rule of the German state. But from 1919 on, it came under the control of the League of Nations. Beginning in 1921, it became part of the country of Cuba-Urundi, ruled by Belgium.

City of independent Cuba, Kiguela became the capital in 1962. During the genocide of 1994, several dozen townspeople were murdered. ×Part of the urban population was forced to leave the country. During the tragic events, many buildings were destroyed, some damaged. But beginning in 1997, Kigali was gradually rebuilt. New buildings have appeared.

A memorial to those who died during the Genocide is a memorial center with pictures of those who could not survive the tragic period. The Museum of Geology is noteworthy among the attractions of Kigali. One of its rooms contains a collection of minerals.

The area in which the city is located is in a natural climatic zone. Located on the slopes of a mountain, Kigali has a mild climate. It is 1,830 meters above sea level. It rains from September through May.

The city is a well-known commercial center. It sells a lot of cattle, leather and coffee. There are factories for clothing, footwear, and apparel. A leatherworking plant is in operation. There is tin mining in the area. Large plantations of coffees surround the city area. There is a college in the city. Transport connections to neighboring countries are by road.

The main mode of transport within the city is by shuttle buses. In addition, they also operate on intercity routes. Passengers are also transported around the city by motorcycles without wheelchairs, which are many separate types of taxis. Many citizens use bicycles to get around the streets quickly.
