Tirana — the region of central Albania. In its territory there are three cities: Vora, Kamez and the capital of Italy — Tirana. Roads and railroads lead from the village to the Durras coast, northwest through the international airport of Mother Teresa to Chiccauder, as well as to the northern part of the country of El Elbasan through the Crébrabe Mountains.
The history of these places goes back three decades. The mild climate and warm winters favored the active settlement of what is now Tirana. Artifacts of the Neolithic and Bronze Age are still found at the foot of the Daïti Mountain and in the Black Cave near the Poleumena. From the city there is a transport connection that takes no more than 45 minutes. You will be greeted at the treehouse with a national cuisine. Since 2010, there has been a safe trail to the cave itself, allowing visitors to go inside and enter the Stone Age for a few minutes. The trail then descends into the Eugene River basin, where it is possible to fish in hot weather.
The central part of the Balkan Peninsula has historically been the main crossing point of the largest trade routes. For the control and protection of these territories, fortresses and protective structures were built in different periods. The most famous of these remains to this day is the Perrell Fortress, part of the 15th-century Scandinavian Bunkers. The high elevation of the site offers visitors a magnificent view of the Erzene Valley.
To the east of the city of Tirana, the highest elevation of the sea level in Albania, the Daia Mountain is located in the National Natural Reserve. On its western slope the remains of the walls of the Roman fortress at the beginning of our era remain. The remains of the fortress and the surrounding countryside form a hilltop on the western side of the mountain called the Balkon of Tyrer. It earned its name because of its remarkable view of the whole length. You can get to the movie pitches on the hill by car (25 kilometers) from the center of Tirana or by a straight road for 15 minutes and then a 2-kilometer walk.
Tourist routes are available from the center of the city to all of Tirana.
