To the southwest of Morocco, in the Sousse region, lies the city of Aguadair. Its territory covers part of the Atlantic Ocean. The countrys most populous city, Casablanca, is 510 kilometers away. The founders of Aguadir were the Portugalians, who in 1505 laid out a new settlement on the Atlantic coast. It was born in the middle of the 16th century, after the Arabs occupied the area. After their arrival and for nearly two centuries thereafter, Aguadir enjoyed a successful trade in sugarcane, wax, oil, spices and finances.

Then Aguadir is known as a popular resort, with its sandy beaches stretching for nearly 13 kilometers. A variety of activities, including parasailing, windsurfing, diving, fishing, fishing, golf, and tennis attract thousands of tourists. The resort town is surrounded by the Sousse Valley, where crops are grown. Almost all of its old fortresses were destroyed during the 1960 destruction. The fort of Saint Croix de Caix de Gea was destroyed only by walls and gates. International architects helped to rebuild the city. They rebuilt Aguadir as an entertainment center with quality hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and mega malls.
