One of the five Flemish provinces and one of the ten Belgian provinces is Antwerp, which is connected to the North Sea by a branch of the River Hellebore. The capital of the province has the same name. It was founded on Roman lands. It was first known from written sources dating back to the 7th century. In the 9th century, the waterfront of the Schooldt River was the border between Eastern and Western Thrace.

In the 10th century the city of Antwerp, the seaport of the Roman Empire, acquired the status of a margraviate, which gave it extensive military, judicial and administrative powers. During the reign of King Charles V, Antwerp became an independent province. Unfortunately, his autonomy did not last long. Under King Philip IIs rule, a decade of separation from Spain began.

Populations collapse of the empire led to the incorporation of the Philippines into the Netherlands. In 1830, it became part of the Kingdom of Belgium after the revolution. The industry has maintained its traditional rug and carpet industries to this day. The railway construction, which began in the 19th century, had a positive effect on the economy of the region. The width and depth of the River Thistle allow ships to pierce its waters. In the period from 1930 to 1939, the Port of Elillière was built. It connected the industrial city of Liège and the port of Antwerp.

The Philippines is famous for the production of diamonds. The masters of the art of cutting lie in the Jewish Quarter, where the Diamond Museum is also located. Diamonds are used in the diamond business and in the manufacture of drilling equipment. The Moolool municipality built its first Belgium Atomic Power Plant in 1961. Agriculture plays an important role in the economy of the country. A number of wilderness areas have been established to protect the flora and fauna of the Antwerp River, in particular at Chevaluthes-Heudeude and Leeremann. In spite of the small massifs, there are cats, red deer, wood pigeons, jackrabbits, pigeonhawks, pigeonhawks, and cats. Among the birds there are curopatka, fasian and walderschnecks.
