Bruxelles is the capital of Belgium and at the same time the administrative center of the region of Bruxelles. In Brussels there are the offices of the Flemish and French societies, the Quarter of the European Union, the Secretariat of the Benelux countries and the Western European Union. It is also home to the NATO office.

Bruxelles has 18 municipalities with a population of about two million people. About 150,000 people live in Brussels itself.

ân Belgium is irregularly shaped in three parts, where the northern part is broader, the central part is narrower, and the southern part is the narrowest.

The northern part of Brussels includes the Lacenne region, which is the only one of the Coronation. Once upon a time Laquênne was an autonomous institution. The historic center of Brussels is represented by a row of boulevards, which in the past were the site of defensive structures.

The city is on the River Seine, which had to be renamed because of the rapid redevelopment of the 19th century.

Bruxelles has a strong maritime climate, formed by the influence of the seas from the North Sea. During the hottest months the air temperature reaches 17 degrees Celsius. Winter temperatures do not drop below 2.5 degrees Celsius. The citys name comes from the old Dutch words, which in translation means «bolo» and «village». According to legend, Brussels was founded in the 6th century by a man named Saint-Geric or Saint-Jere. But the first mention of the place where the city was founded is found much earlier, in the charter of Paton the Great in 996.

The first stone in the foundation of the city was laid by King Charles of Lowertown, who built the chapel and fortress on the banks of the river Señena. The cathedral was named in honor of Saint Gudule, who was the patroness of Brussels. In the 11th century the first city wall was built.

In 1430, Brussels becomes the capital of Burundia, ruled by the king Philip of Burundia. During this period the citys buildings, structures, and buildings of the Hrabo-Plus began to be built in a very significant way. The city is experiencing an economic boom. The first carpet makers and jewelers settle in Brussels.

In 1477, Philip the Thirds daughter-in-law María of Bourgogne marries Maximilian the First, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. In 1531, the Gurus of Bourgogne took over, moving the capital from Bruxelles to Mochénel. In 1531, Brussels is once again the capital of Burundia.

When Philip the Second, son of Charles the Fourth, takes power, the northern part of Belgium falls to the Niederlanders. During the reign of Philip the Second, the struggle against the Spanish rulers and protesters took place. In the end, the intellectual elite in Brussels declined, leading to an economic setback in Brussels.

In the 15th and 16th centuries, Brussels was ruled by the Spanish, then taken over by the French. Soon after the War of Naples, Brussels and its environs were ruled by the Gaubourg dynasty of Austria.

In 1789, Brussels succeeded for a time in achieving independence, but by 1794 Brussels had already been overrun by French troops. After the defeat of Napoleons troops, the city was liberated. The Congress of Vienna decided on the unification of the South and North Nederlands under the leadership of William the First.

The elite of the South of Ireland did not want to reconcile with their Northern Northern and Northern Ireland collectivities in linguistic, political and cultural terms. As a result of this opposition, the Belgian Revolution breaks out, leading to the creation of an autonomous Belgian state with Brussels as its capital. The first king of Belgium is King Leopold the First, the Constitutional Monarch.

Because of Brussels being the capital of Belgium, the city has become an increasingly attractive place for migrants. In the 19th century, the population increased rapidly, mainly due to migrants. The boundaries of Brussels were gradually widening at the expense of the outlying villages, forming a conglomerate. During this period, buildings such as the Royal Palace, the Barracks, the Palace of the South, and the Triumphal Arch were built. Most of the buildings were in modern style.

While Brussels has been the victim of Germanic politics, it has not suffered major destruction. The city has been able to preserve many of the buildings that have existed since the founding of the city. The 1953 law, which called for the demolition of many of the structures, had a negative impact on the appearance of the city. Many historic structures were demolished in the 1960s, to be replaced by modern apartment buildings.

The historicization of the French and Dutch language leads to the official establishment of the bilingualism in Brussels (1938). Names of streets and institutions are written in two languages
