Barcelona – the largest industrial and commercial center in Spain. With a population of just over half a million people, Barcelona – the countrys second most populous city after Madaridad. According to one legend, Barselon was founded by a 3rd-century political leader and commander, Hamilkar Balak, who named the city after his family. However, archaeological excavations have revealed traces of human habitation since the Stone and Bronze Ages. The economy of Marseilles is based on tourism, chemicals, textiles and textiles, electronics and motor construction, publishing, printing, information technology and telecommunications. Founded by the Romans, having survived the Arabian domination and reborn as the seat of Christianity in the Middle Ages, Barselona has preserved its historical and cultural heritage of the preceding centuries. The citys long history is vividly represented in its architecture.

One of the masterpieces of European architecture, and a witness to the events that took place in the city, is the ancient Roman settlement of the Gothic Quarter. It contains: the Square of Khaime I with the Palace of the Government of Catalonia and the City Hall, the Chapel of San Giudy and the Golden Hall, the Great Kings Palace and the Palace of the Apelline Trees. And not far from «Gothic Quarter» the Chapel of St. Agatha and the Chapel of the Holy Trinity. Agatha, the Museum of Federico Marresa, the Archbishops Palace and the Museum of Barselona. Many of the buildings, many of them of great value, are on UNESCOs World Heritage List.

Although of particular interest is the Monastery of Montserrat, founded in 1025 by the Philolithic abatement Olibát. Although the first small Catholic chapels had been built there since the 9th century, when the land was conquered by the Saracens (Mosulmans). Ababat Oliba – a famous architect of the time, he himself led the construction of the monastery. Since then Monastery Monastery has been repeatedly rebuilt, destroyed by Napoleon Bonapartes army, and then rebuilt. There are currently about 100 Benedictine monks in the monastery. And for visitors to the monastery, a guesthouse is open.

The Cathedral of the Holy Family – the most recent and unfinished work by Antonio Guardi, is of particular interest to visitors to the city. The cathedral, begun in 1882, is scheduled to be completed by 2026. The architect himself said it was not his last cathedral, but the first in a new series. In dedicating his life to this cathedral – the Church of the Reconstruction of the Grecians, Gaudy created one of his greatest works – the Façade of the Nativity. The towers that adorned it are today the symbols of Marcellus.

And one of Marcellus most famous landmarks is the singing panthers. In essence, it is one enormous concerto, made up of many small ones. To the class music, it begins to present itself: shimmering with a multitude of colors, it constantly changes its conformation and shading. Each presentation is made up of two two-minute acts. And for the entire duration of the performance, none of the characters is repeated twice. What makes the picture special is that it is not far from the palace. It wasnt long ago that the remote control was automatic, but the fact that the human being was replaced by a computer had no effect on the greatness of the representation. Life has been boiling in Barcelona all year long. Its always full of different events: cultural, sporting, or commercial. There are always concerts and exhibitions going on. The city is also full of restaurants, museums and art galleries. Barcelona – one of Europes most beautiful cities to be sure to return to.
