Sayulita

Overall Score

2.9

Sayulita is located on the Pacific Ocean in western Mexico. The town is located north of Puerto Vallarta, with a scenic road that lies midway between the Pacific coast and the rainforest of the Sierra de Vallejo mountains. Surfers have been discovering these places since the 1960s and told like-minded people about the miles of golden beaches and perfect waves. Since then, Sayulita has become a popular destination for Canadian and American vacationers, with regular festivals and holidays. Tourists don’t call exploring Sayulita a walk on the rainbow for nothing. Tiny storefronts with local artisan goods are painted in bright shades of pink, orange, blue, and yellow. You can buy handmade leather bags and boots, jewelry, rustic ceramics, and more.
