Phoichit, the administrative center of a single province located 290 kilometers from the capital, Bangkok, stretches along the right bank of the Nang River in central Thailand. The name of the village is translated as "Beautiful City. On the central square is a church with magnificent architectural elements. Its interior spaces are richly decorated with a variety of fixtures and fittings.
Historical monuments of the area include the ruins of the ancient village of Bath Bath of Kaho, which was destroyed in the 8th century. Not far from the city is the Váthá Lyùng Cultural Complex, which rises on the banks of the Nang River and is the most famous temple in Põhitya. In its hall is a giant bronze statue of a giant-sized Buddha.
The National Museum is one of the most interesting places in the city. Its history, ethnography, and archaeology halls contain a wealth of exhibits that can be used to trace the history of the local history. South of the city is Lake Bang Si Phai. There is a park area along its shoreline. There is a crocodile farm next to the lake.
