Ko Samui

Overall Score

The Siam Bay of the Pacific Ocean is home to Samui, a popular resort in Thailand. It is part of the Surattean Peninsula and is located 40 kilometers off the eastern coast of the countrys south coast. The island is characterized by an abundance of coconut palms, sandy beaches stretching along the coastline, and coral riffles. The capital center is Natìnon, the only city in Samoué. Its territory lies in the westernmost part of the island. There are regular flights from the airport to Singapore, Patthaya, Bangkok, and Phuket. The highway runs along the entire coastline.

Samoyi is the third-largest island in the country. It is 560 kilometers from the capital city of Bangkok. In an east-west direction, it is crossed by a mountain range. The terrain is remarkable for its large uplands with buoyant, rugged vegetation. The islands coastline consists of vast beaches, inlets, and coves. There are equal stretches of coconut palm groves, which are a major contributor to the provincial treasury and the island in particular. Moreover, they grow rice.

ââ¬â¢s main beaches in Samhumi are Lamai and Chaweng. Located on the eastern coast, they extend six meters. On the north side of the island are the isolated beaches of Bore Póh, Mae Nam, and Báng Póh. Its a place for those who have grown tired of the big sea pleasures and yearn for solitude in the midst of natural landscapes. Quiet spots include Big Buddha Beach, which offers a spectacular view of two nearby islands. On one of them is an image of a seated Buddha.

Two waterfalls are a magnificent sight, gushing out their waters into the natural pools at the base of the basins. One of them, Hín La Land, is close to the city. On the east side of Samui is another waterfall, Na Muang. On the south side of the island is the park of Bacchik Na Tien. It is home to a museum of rare insects and a bee house. On a seaside voyage with a clear bottom, you can watch the creatures of the underwater kingfishers and see the bewildering thickets of coral reefs.

Äp>The island can be visited by mini-buses or motor-taxis. In addition, they also offer rentals for jeeps and mopeds. The circuitous road that runs along the edge of the coastline makes it easy to get to every beach in Samoa and the city center, Nataton, in no time.
