Seminyak is a resort and beach of the same name in the southeastern part of Bali. It is located 9 km (about 30 minutes) from Ngurah Rai Airport in Denpasar and is one of the most prestigious holiday destinations on the island.
Seminyak is a stylish resort, it is considered one of the most expensive in Bali. Especially when compared to the neighboring beach resorts, Kuta and Legian, which can be called budget and youth. The only resort where prices are higher than in Seminyak – Nusa Dua. It is a fenced area with luxury hotels, where only vacationers are allowed.
In terms of prices and style of recreation Seminyak is most similar to Jimbaran. The difference between these resorts is that in Jimbaran less fun, so go here mostly the older generation and families with children.
If you like a quiet holiday, it is better to go to Sanur. Compared to Seminyak there is almost no nightlife and nothing will bother you.
Thus, Seminyak is suitable for people of all ages who are willing to pay for comfort. There are plenty of bars and clubs, entertainment for children and quiet places for a quiet time. This area is popular with foreigners who have moved to Bali. Land prices here are among the highest on the entire island.
