Novosibirsk

Overall Score

Novosibirsk is a social, social, business and cultural center of Siberia.

The first settlements in the area of the modern city appeared in the 17th century. Thus, the river Ibe divided the area into two parts: on the left bank there was the village of Post (later – Krivlevyokovksaya), and on the right side there was a village of Telugouts, who lived for a long time, and then went into history. Because of the ancient shrines where this people lived and the not-so-friendly and peaceful people who continued to live in them, the left side of the river developed on its own, without being united with the right side for a long time. But the merger of the two territories did occur a few decades later: in 1893, active construction began, which resulted in the creation of one large city – Novo-Nikolayevsk (later Novosibirsk). The date of April 30 was taken as the official date of foundation. Soon the railway station was built, and buildings, churches, and houses began to be built. The city was actively expanding and developing, and the population was growing rapidly.

The civil war of 1917-1918 had a very painful effect on the city: all state enterprises were shut down, railroads stopped operating. But on May 25, 1925 Novovokolevoyevsk was the administrative center of Siberia, and in a few months was changed to Novosibirsk. And then there was a tremendous increase in the development of industry, culture, education. Schools are opening, theaters are being built, life is booming. The Academy Opera and Ballet Theater, a zoo, a botanical garden, and museums have opened their doors for residents and visitors to the city.

Modern Novosibirsk is one of the largest cities in Russia. It harmoniously combines many centuries-old traditions and new technologies, narrow streets and large squares in large squares. The city is proud of its famous citizens of the whole country: Alexander Alexandrovich Pokroshkin, the airline marcher, Andrei Petrovich Zvyayinov, the film director, the musician Alexander Sergey Sergeevich Sergeepin and many others.

And every year, the Siberian capital hosts music and art festivals. For these festivals the academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Drama Theater &quo;s Old House Theater opens its doors; , Youth Theater & ‖Globus‖, Drama Theater & ‖Krasnyj Fakel‖, Theater of Musical Comedy, and the branch companies and concert halls. The city also has 16 movie theaters and dozens of museums.

In Novosibirsk, there are 4 cathedrals, 13 churches, 8 churches, houses of worship and churches.
