The small town of Juindiai is located in the state of San Paulo, not far from its capital. It will take no more than a day to get from the administrative center by train. There has been a Jundia Meatpacking facility in the city limits for over 30 years. It is sold in many locations throughout the state. In the beginning, the ice cream was made by hand. Now there are 80 types of ice cream produced on automated lines. A small area, Jundidea can be visited in about an hour and a half, with an abundance of churches, mosques and cathedrals. On Sundays, the streets are usually empty, due to the closing of all institutions on weekends.
