Kuta, Bali

Overall Score

2.3

Kuta is a resort town in the south of the Indonesian island of Bali. Once it was a poor fishing village infested with evil spirits (so say the locals, in fact, no one checked), in the 60’s Kuta was beloved by hippies, and today it is one of the most popular vacation spots among young people. Despite the abundance of pickpockets, weed dealers, prostitutes, and the lack of silence as a fact, the flow of tourists here never dries up.

The coast is built mostly with budget hotels, bars and discos at every step, cheap Vietnamese restaurants, low prices for any entertainment, excellent conditions for surfing, and the local beaches and sunsets – a truly heavenly beauty.
