In the upper reaches of the Hava River in the northwest corner of the Indian state of Maharashtra, the city of Nasheesh (Nashek) has sprung up. Its territory lies 202 kilometers from Puna. Moumbeaie and Nashek are 180 kilometers apart. The climatic conditions of the past few months have been harsh. From June to November, the city is ruled by the Muscovites. From November through February, the weather is subdued with cool nights and warm afternoons. Its territory, like the rest of the sacred cities of Prayag, Oujaiyani and Khardar, celebrates the traditional festival of Kumbhamela. According to ancient tradition, the Amrita, the drink of death, was the drink of death, met in a great battle. During the battle, the drinking vessel was in the hands of Jeyayant, the son of the god Yindu. He turned into a bird, holding his vessel in the plume, and rose up into the sky. On his way, Jayantha made four stops, and he left a drop at each resting place. In consequence, four sacred cities were established in these areas.
In ancient tradition, Nashik and the other 3 sacred cities have a Kumkumhamela Festival once every 12 years, which is staggered in each of these towns. He is commemorated in the path of the Jayantar Islands during his stops. The many patrons who come to Nashik during festivities are especially drawn to the khatas (steps for ritualistic exercises) of the sacred stream of the Hodhavari River and the Sita cave.
According to one of the ancient legends, Nashik was the place where Mama, his wife Sita, and his brother spent their days in exile. In these places, Sitha was taken over by the ruler of the Kakkasians, Ravana. Nearby the entrance to the cave is the ancient temple of Kala Grama, which is translated as Black Grama. The great treasure is of great importance to Nashash and the whole country.
For a long period of time the representatives of the Mysteries of the Discovery struggled to obtain permission to enter the sacred complex. Another famous temple in the western part of Nashik is the Sundar Nashik Mandir. The most ancient temple structure of the city is the Kápár Mándir, the Shiva, the Chapel of the Chapel of the Hearts. It is located in the upper reaches of the Gospel River.
