The capital of Nabaraska, Ëèíñêîëlín, lies in the Great Plains in the middle of the Great Plains on both sides of the Salt Creek. It is the second most populous city in the south-eastern part of the state and the second most populous in Naberrak.

The official date of Lincolns founding is 1869. However, the township was founded 15 years earlier as Lanckcaster. The village became the capital because the people of Nabaraska wanted to join Kansas, and the authorities moved the main city farther away from the borders with the state. The episode lasted a few years and ended successfully for the village of Lancaster. For a long time the people were reluctant to accept Lincollein (in honor of the murdered president of the United States in 1865, Abraham Lincollein) because they felt like «confederates in the recently ended Civil War. Nevertheless, in 1869, that decision «passed » and a formal record of the citys history began.

Lincoln has a large Jewish community as well as  Russian Germans who immigrated there in the early 20th century. There is even a museum of the history of this ethnic group. Among the interesting objects of the city are the University of Nebracca-Lincoln, some administrative buildings. There are many annual festivals and festivals in Lancolne: sports, religious, cultural.

Lancolne hosts many festivals and events.
