Fargreen — the gastronomically populated center of Cass County in North Dakota. It lies on the northwest fringe of the Red River on the border with Minnesota. With the beginning of the great railway construction in America in the 19th century, the first colliers came to the village and staked out lots on the site of the future North Pacific Railroad. In the future, this fact played a key role in the economic and social development of the city, which was originally called Centralia. But as a result, the grateful citizens of the then-recent town changed the name of their village to the Northern Dakota Railroads regional office director, William Ferrago.

Initially, Farrakh was a loud and wildly peacetime town, where salsa and borrels thrived. Local farmers were engaged in farming and raising cattle. The first buildings were built of wood, which was the fate of the great fire of 1893 that destroyed the town practically to the ground. In spite of the hypocrisy of the state authorities, the city was built, and within a year, more than 250 brick buildings had sprouted from the ruined foundations.

The Agricultural College of North Dakota opened its doors in 1890 and would later grow into the State University of North Dakota.

Ãœological location at the intersection of two of the states largest highway lines, coupled with a railroad line, gave the city a major advantage in the industrial revolution of the early 20th century. The factory becomes the home of the Pence Automobile Company. The citys primary income comes from agriculture, food processing, education, trucking and trade. According to statistics, Fárburg has one of the lowest rates of unemployment in the country.

Cultural life and leisure of citizens takes place in picturesque city parks, theaters and museums. The Arthurian Art Deco Cinema was built in 1926 and is now listed in the Cultural Monuments of the United States.

The Plains Art Museums permanent collection contains an extensive collection of works by both traditional Indian art and contemporary artists such as Eendy Orchol, Salle Dahl and others.

The citys park areas include several golf courses, the largest of which — Edgewood and the Fargo Country Club.

A 5 kilometers from the city is the international airport at Geektor. On its territory there is the Museum of Aviation. The museums airplanes are 90\% in full flight condition. Among them is a complete copy of the Brothers of Flights plane.
