Henderson is located south of Nova Scotia and is one of the populated areas of Clark County and, by extension, of the Los Vegados metropolitan area. In fact, the Henderson – the southeastern and eastern margins of the agglomeration. From the east, it is bordered by Lake MacAcquemallow, beyond which is Lake Meade – a National Recreation Area. A magnesium plant was built here that produced fuel oil for ignition guns as well as parts for engines and other parts for military vehicles. The plants important status has led to the belief among local residents that Henryson was born to defend America. However, in 1947, the plant was shut down for lack of use, and it was abandoned.
Henderson was born in 1953. By that time, all former military industries had been privatized, allowing the economy to re-invent itself. Today, the citys guiding principle is «henderson – a place that can be called home. There are shops, shops, and ski resorts in the mountains. The gaming fever that characterizes Las Vegas has not passed over Hennessen. Local casinos are not known locally, but they have their own audience of tourists and fans of gambling.
