Oregon, one of the Pacific Ocean states, has a natural diversity. The Beaver State is located in a mountainous area. Along the coast rise the Bury Mountains, followed by the Caspian Mountains with the highest point – the Hood Volcano (3,427 meters). These lands are richly irrigated by the Pacific Ocean sediments. The central regions – the isolated, deserted areas of the Columbia Plate, which are flanked to the north-northeast by the ridge of the Goluby Mountains. The south-east is occupied by the steppes, the half-hollows of the High Basin of the Great Basin. The island – the region is relatively unsafe. There are both active and extinct volcanoes, as well as geothermal springs. Crater Lake, formed in the crust of an ancient basin – the deepest lake in the U.S. The main river system – the Columbia River and its tributaries. The Valley of the Willamette River – the most populated and livable area of the state.

The area was inhabited by Chinooks, Neo-Peruvians, Bannocks, and Cliamatians. In the 1770s, Spanish and English seafarers explored the coast of the Oregonian and the lowlands of Colombia. M. Lluis and O. Clarke – American pioneer explorers of the region (1805), a name derived from the French word transformed from the word Uragan. The Tokocean Powder Company, and later the company of Gódészánez, contributed greatly to the conquest of Oregon, which, incidentally, was accompanied by conflicts with the Indians. There were conflicts with the United Kingdom, which was engaged in trade in Oregon. As a result, a clear boundary was drawn in 1846, and from 1859 Oregon became the 33rd state.

The cities of Portland, Salem, and Bend offer many theme museums, botanical gardens and parks for visitors to visit. It is famous for its ski resorts and national parks. There are several unique natural sites in the area that are of great interest to tourists.
