The American city of Orora Orora is in the northern part of the U.S. In addition to its official name, the city also has the nickname City of Lights. The nickname was officially adopted in 1908, because Orora was the first American city with a completely electric street lighting system.

The date the city was founded is 1834. It was in that year that the McCarthy brothers bought a piece of land called the Fox River and built a house and a series of buildings. Three years later, the village had a post office, and the name Orora&quot became official. After another twenty years, Orora was reunited with the village on the west side of the river. For the next twenty years, the city developed rapidly: hospitals and schools opened, industries were founded, and thousands of immigrants from around the world moved in. But then there was a decline in development, and by 1980 most of the citys businesses were closed. In 1993, the city opened its first casino.

Today, Orora has a well-developed industry, represented by the peculiar products industry, jewellery, technical silver, industrial equipment, as well as metallurgical companies and breweries.
