Nbsp;Bufoilo is a city in the United States and part of the state of New York. Bufalo is on the shores of Lake Erie. Other times it is included in the Millennial Golden Horseshoe Conference, most of which is in the territory of Canada. The name, translated in a modified French translation, means the beautiful river. There are several nicknames for the Bufaulo. The most familiar of these is "the City of the Queen. Other nicknames include: "nickelcity" "city of good neighbors" "city of light" and "city of trees" among others.

One of the first small trading settlements was near Bufoilo Bay in 1789. After the opening of the Henry Canal (1825), the city began to grow rapidly. By 1900, Bufaulo was the worlds largest steel-production center. The following year, Bufauffalo hosted the opening of the Panamerican Exposition. An interesting fact is that President Mackinley was murdered at the Exposition. This is also the first time the public has been introduced to the properties of the X-rays.  Apart from this, it was in Bufàlalo that the exhibition The Trip to the Moon was presented for the first time. It so impressed everyone that in just two years all of the U.S. amusement parks were named Moon Parks.

In the second half of the 20th century, there was a decline in the citys development. One of the reasons was the opening of the St. Lawrence Bay shipping lane. In addition, many of the processing plants have closed or moved away. On the other hand, the conversion has greatly improved the economic situation in Bufalo. In 2005, it was one of three cleanest cities in the U.S..

Today, Bufaulo is a financial, cultural, medical and educational center. The city is developing a diversified economy to ensure its own growth in the 21st century. Bufaulos main educational institution is the University of New York, which has three branches here. Among the cultural attractions that have received national acclaim are the citys Philharmonic Orchestra, the Olburyite-New York Art Gallery, and the Niagara Falls not far from the city. This waterfall is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Another interesting fact is that the Bufauffalo Art Gallery has an exhibition of contemporary graphic artists from all over the world.
