Colorado Springs is a lively, picturesque city located in the state of Corrado at the foot of the fossil, fancifully shaped mountains. The town is enclosed by thick forests and surrounded by cliffs, and it is regarded as a resort because of its mountain and natural air, wild forests. The location of the city and its environment create a mild climate and comfortable weather and environmental conditions for the local population and visitors. The history of the city dates back to 1871. It was named in honor of the many mineral springs discovered there.
Colombo Springs is home to a large number of British originals, a fact that has led to another designation as &Little London. The citys prosperity is due to the massive development of gold mines and the creation of favorable and comfortable conditions for recreation, sports and tourism. In particular, the city of Colorado Springs is the center of winter sports. The tourism industry is the citys trademark, especially for fans of mountain scenery and wildlife. In addition to sports and tourist bases, there are two aviation bases and a large military department.
While close to the city, there is the «Garden of the Gods» in which the exotic orchard scales rise. Walking in such a garden is like a fairy tale, and its not uncommon for the place to be called the Pearl Pearl of Colorado Springs. But its not the citys only wonderland. Red Rock Canyon is also remarkable for its geological formations. All in all, it is a fascinating city like a museum. The Rock Lodges of Manatee — a natural museum, attracts tourists in particular. It contains copies of the so-called rock dwellings of the Indians.
The beauty and architectural design of the U.S. Air Force Academys Cadet Chapel is also striking against the backdrop of ancient historic sites — The main building has a modern design with 17 pylons at the top, consisting of 100 tetrahedrons covered by aluminum panels. A granite staircase leads to the main entrance. This building is considered a National Monument of the United States.
