Huntsville, AL

Overall Score

3.7

Hantesville lies on the planet Kamberland, in the northern part of Alabama. It encompasses five districts and is the center of the district of Madison. It was named for its first inhabitant and founder, John Hunt. The town was the first in the state to become a city. In 1819 it became the capital of Alabama, but not permanently. In the middle of the 19th century it was known as the regions commercial center, where cotton, textile, and corn were traded extensively. Before the early 1940s, Khentsvill was a small village. It developed actively during World War II, when a bomb factory opened in the countryside. In the 1950s, the plant was transformed into a missile construction center, and a few years later it became a major facility for controlling and monitoring space missions.

The modern city is known not only for its nuclear and missile technology, but also for its electronics and CRACC vehicles. There are active representations of foreign companies, particularly Japanese, German, and Korean.
