Little Rock, AR

Overall Score

3.4

Little Rock is the capital and largest city of Arcakansas. It is located on the south bank of the River Arkansas. Opposite, on the north side of the river, is North Little Rock, which is part of the city of the capital of the state.

The indigenous people of the area were first killed by the 1541 expedition of Ernando de Sotho. It was not until 1722, however, that the white men came to take the land. The Frenchman de la Arp decided to establish a trading station and called the area Little Rock or Little Rock, or Little Rock. It wasnt until 1821 that a permanent settlement appeared, which quickly developed thanks to its rapid status as a capital city and the discovery of a deposit of bauxite not far away.

Little Rock – one of the significant centers of the struggle of the Negro population for civil rights. The city is also home to the famous General of the World War II, Duglas MacArthur, who was a citizen of the city.

The sites of the Old City are old administrative buildings, such as the Capitol of Arcagnas (a diminished copy of the Capitol in Washington), the Post Office and the Court House, for example. There is also a park, several museums and art galleries, a theater, and a library named after Billy Clinton.
