The town of Oceanside is located in the county of San Diego and is considered one of its largest villages. Not far from the outskirts is the Marine Corps of one of the U.S. military bases. The citys streets were actively built in the 1970s and 1980s. Before the first Europeans, it was a Jewish village. In 1769, the Spanish Missions and Father Césaire Henripro arrived there. Their goal was to convert the indigenous people to Christianity. They founded the Mission of San Luis Rey de France. It was set up on land where the village had been. In the early 19th century, the natural landscape of the area underwent change. More acreage was taken up by crop fields and livestock paddocks. Beginning in 1821, the village, like all of California, was owned by the Mexicans. But in the late 1840s the area became part of the United States.

The founding year of Oceanside is 1888. One of its first residents was Myers, who bought a piece of land to build a house. Now a city hall rises on the site of the homestead. The city center was built in the 1890s. Houses were built in the southern part of the city in the 1930s. Nowadays, these areas are a concentration of architectural monuments. The landscaping of the citys beach was in its 20th century. After the Marine Corps base was established in the area of Oceanside, the city was a home for its personnel. The city was the site of the World War II war makers of ammunition.

In the 1970s, construction began on the citys outskirts. Over time, cottage villages and recreation areas began to appear. A notable landmark is the wooden pier in Oceanside, built in 1888. It has been restored several times. It is almost 600 meters long. It was used to film one scene from the movie, Make It Happen. The Mission of San Luis de France, founded in the 18th century, is now the seat of one of the representations of Spain in California. Among the most popular annual holidays, according to the citizens, is Halloween. During it, the streets are filled with many participants. Fairs, carnivals, and performances by artists and musicians are lively and lively.
