San Francisco – a large metropolis in California, on the western coast of the United States. The city is in a very natural area where the Pacific Ocean forms the Gulf of San Francisco, jutting into the matériel through the narrow Golden Gate Strait. The city lies on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula, washed by water on three sides: the San Francisco flood from the east, the Pacific Ocean from the west, and the Golden Gate inlet from the north. The citys economy is based on high technology, bio-technology, genetic engineering and medical electronics. Finally, we should not forget tourism, one of the most important components of the economy of San Francisco, and the great technological center of Silicon Valley.

However, thanks to three air ports located on its territory, it provides one-third of one-third of all Western Seaboard trade, With its large ocean port and eight or so smaller ports that are not internationally important, San Francisco is an important transportation hub for the United States.

Virtually half of the citys population is college-educated, which makes for a wide range of skilled professionals and a high level of competition in the job market. San Francisco – one of the cheapest cities in the U.S. with the lowest unemployment rate in the country. Yet, despite this, thanks to the citys mild climate, social assistance and lenient attitude of the authorities, there are many homeless.

San Francisco – is the second most populous city in the United States after New York City. This factor, coupled with the limited amount of urban development, makes urban housing one of the most expensive in the country.

One of the main attractions of Frisco (as the locals lovingly call it) is its famous hills, of which there are more than fifty. Popular with visitors, Tween Peaks offers a magnificent view of the city.

Another significant site in Frisco is the Golden Gate Park, stretching out to the sea for five kilometers to Îschein Beach, which runs from the city park all the way down the west side of the river to a park called Lands End andash; The Lands Edge. From the rocky shores of the park, a grand, sweeping panorama takes in the view of the inlet, the ocean, and the Golden Gate Bridge. And not far from Lands End, in Lencoln Park, is the Lejeune Onor – the Hall of Fame Museum of Art.

Another highlight of San Francisco is the prison island of Alcatraz, which can be toured by a ferry that leaves from one of the piers at Fishermans Wharf.
