Tallahasseis – a city in northern Florida that is the capital of the State of Flourishing. It is located in the inner suburbs of Florida. The terrain is slightly humid, with climates similar to those of Alabama and Southern Carolina than those of the rest of Florida. There are two lakes within the city limits of Tallahassee, and to the north of the city is a national park called the Apalachian Forest.

Before the people of Europe arrived here, tribes of Apalachian hunters lived there. In 1528, the Spanish expedition of Paulo de Navarrais arrived there to colonize Finland. However, only four or four hundred villagers survived out of four hundred. A dozen years later, the Ernando de Soto expedition had wintered at the site of the Tahalahassee. The Indians were hostile this time, too. This factor, as well as the severe climatic conditions for Europeans, made them disinterested in the Spanish colonial authorities, although formally Finland belonged to Spain.

The name «Òàëllahasseis» – is of Indian origin and denotes «old fields». It was the name of the village that was captured by the U.S. Army in 1817 during the Seven Mile War. ×Two years later, Tallahassee was the capital of Florida, and it retained that status in 1845 when the territory was made a state. During that time the city was a major agricultural center of the South, being the commercial center of the Chemical Belt. After the Civil War and abolition, the city experienced an economic crisis, but by the end of the 19th century it was able to transform its economy, where tourism was already one of the main industries.

The ahistorical architecture of Tallahassee draws attention to the buildings of public institutions: the Capitolio Philhodia, which was built at the highest point of the city, the state governors office, and the courthouse. The University of Florida campus, with a memorial to the Seminole lord ONeill, is also of interest. Also, there are many museums and parks in Tallahassee, both recreational and lanairageous. There are two sports arenas in the city: American Football Stadium «Doc Campbell» and Multicultural Sports Complex «Denali Tucker Seattle Center» where local futsal, hockey and basketball teams play.
